Optoelectronic is basically a field of technology that combines the physics of light with electricity. It goes further to deal with design and manufacture of hardware devices that are able to convert electrical signals to photon signal and vice versa. Devices that could be considered as an optoelectronic device include

·         Device that performs as optical to electrical transducer
