mHealth

mHealth refers to the practise of medicine through mobile devices. Other devices such as tablet computers, PDA are also included. Patients are given the opportunity to access healthcare services while healthcare professional consult their patients data via mobile devices.

Mobile devices such as smartphones are nowadays possessed by most civilizations improving healthcare possibilities. However, it is important to point out that in low and middle-income countries, mHealth is restricted and limited due to to poor infrastructures not enabling sufficient support such as GPS & Wifi.
